Two Assam Rifles personnel died after suspected militants ambushed their vehicle. The attack occurred on NH-202 in Manipur’s Ukhrul district on Monday afternoon. Security forces responded quickly and engaged in an exchange of fire with the assailants. Further operations are currently underway to apprehend the individuals responsible for the incident. The deceased soldiers were identified as Warrant Officer Balwant Singh and Constable CM Singh.
