Foreign policy chief says drone attack last month ‘had all the hallmarks of state sponsored terrorism’ as she prepares to lead today’s discussions
Ukraine’s foreign minister Andrii Sybiha said on Wednesday it was a “fair approach” to renew talks on using Russian frozen assets for Ukraine.
“I think this is a fair approach to start serious discussion how we could use immobilised frozen assets,” Sybiha said at a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Ireland, quoted by Reuters.
“We see an attempt by Russia to divide us in Europe and to deter us from our support for Ukraine. And I say very clearly today, on behalf of the United Kingdom, this attempt will fail.”
