More than 1 million evacuated as Typhoon Bavi makes landfall in China

Chinese authorities evacuated more than 1.7 million people as of Saturday as Typhoon Bavi made landfall in the country’s eastern province of Zhejiang. Hundreds of flights have also been cancelled, and some high-speed railway services have been halted. Bavi is the second typhoon to impact China in just over a week.
