There are eight months left until the next french Presidential election, politicians are ramping up their campaigning, with interviews, meetings and public statements. As it gets closer, more and more candidates are vying for a spot on the starting line. For now, far-right candidate Marine Le Pen is topping the polls – what is unknown is who she will be facing in the second round. FRANCE 24’s Marc Perelman tells us more.
